#AtoZChallenge: April 17 – O is for Ω

Omega (majuscule: Ω, minuscule: ω; Greek Ωμέγα) is the 24th and last letter of the Greek alphabet. In the Greek numeric system, it has a value of 800.

A watch, a car, an ancient greek letter with a value of 800? But also the Omega of the Alpha and Omega, dear to the Christian tradition… The symbolic, or occult, meaning of ancient letters or signs are the stuff of novels.

Ω and O (a parable)

You are the Alpha

The Omega is hidden

While this Omicron is here to serve You,

Attentive, waiting,

Your service is her duty,

Your glory her ambition

Your Ω will bend this O to Your will,

As she stands in front of Your enemies…
